Wind machine

A wind machine is an approximately 30 foot tall metal post that looks like a windmill with a propeller and motor at the top and is placed in or near a field. Designed to mix cold and warm air, especially at night, to prevent crops from freezing, the wind machines come on automatically when ground level temperatures hit certain, predefined levels. The warmer air at 30 feet above ground is then circulated to ground level to help prevent freezing.
